LOVE cheesecake. Especially baked vanilla cheese cake! i really want cheesecake now

I love cheese cake - thinks its a wicked idea.

Was it the smae wedding mag with the tall ball cake???? I want that cake but need to make it myself and no idea where to start lol

Yum, I love cheesecake. I much prefer it to a traditional fruit cake. You could even do a chocolate cheesecake layer, for people who want something a bit closer to a traditional flavour. I'd much prefer it for a dessert course to a sponge based cake.

Its not my favourite dessert but I'd say I'm very much in the minority! Having said that, if it was served as dessert, I'd still eat it and enjoy it

Oh wow thanks guys!!! I think especially if we have different fruit on each layer and maybe different flavours etc...i hadn't thought of chocolate and vanilla etc.

I'm a strange one with cheesecake, I like the top, LOVE the bottom but really dislike the middle.

Told you I'm odd...but I did have a gorgeous Key Lime pie on holiday which basically a frozen cheesecake, and that was lovely!

Sorry - I'm odd in that I really don't like cheesecake. However, most people I know do like it and if it was dessert at a wedding, I would eat a bit of it and wouldn't complain at all.

I love cheesecake! We're still in the early stages of planning our wedding & were thinking about having the top layer as cheesecake.

As for worrying about what everyone will like most weddings don't offer choices for dessert so they wouldn't have had a choice if you'd weren't serving the wedding cake. So go with the choices you want (& don't tell people in advance so there aren't any complaints or people trying to change your mind!!).

Cheesecake is my absolute favourite thing in the entire world. And having read this thread I now want sticky toffee cheesecake. Damn you, I'm supposed to be dieting before my boudoir shoot!

I love love love Cheesecake.

I know there are people out there that wont like Cheesecake, but its your choice in the end. I have been to so many weddings where the bride and groom have fruit cake for the wedding cake, I cant stand fruit cake but it doesnt bother me that I cant have any, its not the bride and grooms fault that I dont like fruitcake, its their choice and I have to respect that. No matter what you choose you will never keep everyone happy.
