Do the clocks go forward tonight?

Lynseys Designs, 28 March, 2009 at 20:54 Posted on Planning 0 13

Or is my h2b having a laugh and making me think I have an hour less in bed?

Yes, they do. My H has to be in work at 3am to ensure the change runs smoothly across his company's websites.

    Oh no!!!!

I wonder how many people will forget? How many people will turn up to work late?? On a totally personal/selfish level - another hour lost and the bags under my eyes are just going to get worse!!!

Anyone considered how fashionable veils are about to become???

    No they go back tonight!

It is so much nicer when they go back!! Not that I ever really feel the benefit as Taylor (my 4yo) doesn't like lie ins!!

I am luckily not working tomorrow but I have text all the staff at my work that are working tomorrow to remind them!! They probably all hate me now as some of them would've used that as an excuse for being late lol!!

KAT - if it helps after one glass of white I had to keep re-reading!!!!!

Yeah another lost hour - still if you (should I say I?) keep drinking the demon drink then we'll probably lose more than one hour!!!!?

Forward it is! Although it is the perfect excuse for me to be one whole hour late for work tomorrow.

"Spring forward, fall (autumn) back" helps me to remember.

Too late for this now cos you've already had it confirmed but, yes, clocks go forward tomorrow.

I also use the "spring forwards, fall back" method to remember.

I've reset my alarm clock already cos I'm going to a wedding fayre at the Hotel where I'm getting married tomorrow and don't wanna be late for my lunch!!!!!! ?

I've changed all the clocks upstairs and I've got wedding hair to do tomorrow and I'm paranoid I'm gonna be late...got to be there at 8.45 ( but my brain will still think its really 7,45)

I should go to bed now but I'm not tired!.....not had any wine tonight as I might sleep too well!

I always get confused with the spring forward fall back thing, as in theory it can work the other way around!

i just remember it that we lose an hour in the spring, but in consolation for the lost hour we get summer instead!

    (well, are supposed to....)
