Sparked by a discussion in my office, me and one of the women were just chatting about things we have planned in the next few months...and , wedding aside, i have a fair few bits and piees without Mr F (as well as many with!!) For instance, next weekend hes away and im having friends come visit..one fo the older married men instantly chipped in saying that weekends away or going to events without each other is a bad sign in a relationship! I said, it works for us as we then get chance to miss each other more and appreciate the time we DO spend together. What camp are you in? Do you and your OH do EVERYTHING together or like me, do you do stuff seperatly with friends etc and think nothing of it?

We used to work together so we would travel into work and home together, sit next to each other all day go on lunch together and for after work drinks on a friday together as well as the usual couples stuff! Now Ive left its a lot less but the things we do are more quality time. H is obsessed with LFC and goes to all their games so he has that and I see my Mum a lot and have the girls round for drinks etc but we always have Friday night as "date night" and sunday is our full day together(depending on fixtures!) We have friends staying for weekends about once every 2 months who are joints friends. We rarely spend nights apart though. I stayed over in Manchester 2 nights for my mini hen, one night at a hotel for my hen, and went to Birmingham for my besties 30th 3 years ago overnight and maybe one other night apart in about 5 years.
