I have a classy Wolverhampton accent, though it is not strong and I do not speak the dialect. Some of you may call it a 'Brummy'accent (which it is not!).

No, I don't think there is an accent at all. I live just a few miles from the welsh border which makes people think I should have a North Wales accent.

Accents are funny. A few people have replied on this thread saying they don't think they have an accent, yet a person from a different area reckons they do!

I don't think I have one, but I do say some words in a funny way. I pronounce 'any' like 'Annie' and 'many' like 'Mannie' if that makes sense. I am also not allowed to order lasagne if we are out as my OH is embarrased by the way that I say it, so he insists on ordering for me. I blame my Irish mother!

It was quite a funny story really cause we heard all this sudden noise next to us so we were a lil bit worried and then looked up and there were about 10 deer a few metres away from us.

No way! I have met a few from BB neck of the woods and they definitely do not sound 'Northern'. Though it may depended where you class the 'border' to be.

I have a rather bizarre accent - or so I've been told - I grew up in SE London, spent my teens in Dartford (big difference in accent as I know at least one member can agree to), moved to the outskirts of Sheffield 9 years ago and then to a village near Worksop 5 years ago (15 miles, but again a huge difference in accent).

    Hold on...freckles - what accent have I got ???
