Do you make your bed every morning?

I've just been tidying up and made the bed and it occurred to me that apart from when I wash it and put the fresh sheets on, I probably haven't made my bed at all this year! ? Is that awful? I spent a small fortune on throws and cushions and I'd rather the bed was not made at all than made 'wrong'...

I spent a small fortune on throws and cushions and I'd rather the bed was not made at all than made 'wrong' so I just can't be arsed to do it in the morning.

Once you go onto expensive bedlinen- you can never go back!!! Loove my good sheets!

In answer to the OP question - I get out and leave it pulled back/unmade, then make it when I get home from work ready for going to bed later. If it's been a particularily bad day, I just get straight back in when I get home!

I normally just straighten the pillows and shake the quilt cover

Nope, never in the morning! I just about have time to get ready for work without bothering with menial tasks like that. I prefer sleep.

I don't care about crinkled sheets/unmade beds/unplumped cushions - It feels no different when I'm sound asleep. Most days I wont step foot in my bedroom until I'm getting back into bed so don't really care about it looking better either. If someone is coming in my room or I'm spending time in there (Sitting on my bed with laptop for a change of scenery or painting my nails etc) then I'll pull the duvet straight to sit down.

I always make the bed. I'm always the first one out and I've 'trained' OH to make it when he gets out, although often he will only make his side and then when I go back up after breakfast I have to make my side - no idea what's going on there! On the rare occassion that he is in bed after I have gone to work and he doesn't make it, I have to make it before going to bed, even if it's only made during the time I am brushing my teeth. I just can't get into an unmade bed!

Hardly ever...and we only have a duvet.

    Doesn't make any difference IMO.

I don't fully make it, but I put the pillows back in place (Mr K likes to cuddle one in the night!) and pull the duvet back into place. I hate getting into an unmade bed - almost feels like it isn't clean!

Mr K ruins it for me though as he quite often goes into bed for a nap before going out to football training/pool/meetings in the evening and doesn't re-make the bed.

Yeah, I do but only because I like to sit on the bed to do my hair and make-up after my shower. We only have pillows and a duvet to worry about anyway so it takes about 10 seconds to straighten it all out. I hate getting into an unmade bed... just feels wrong.
