Does anybody get any actual work done?

I got engaged in August and felt like that basically until Christmas. (Bad news, as I started a full-time Master's degree in September and god knows how I've not been kicked out yet!) Have started doing a bit more work now though. Maybe because I'm doing a dissertation on marriages?!

I don't seem to get much done since I started posting on here lol.

I spend most of my working day on hitched, google doing up moodboards & the forum for our honeymoon hotel. ?

Stupid thing is Ive been coming in early to try & get caught up - all through my own fault!

Ah, yes I'm guilty of this too ? In my defence, we're having a pretty DIY wedding so there's tons to do, make and organise and to make matters worse I'm a perfectionist so I niggle over every little detail!! There are some days where literally everything that comes out of my mouth is wedding-related, I bore myself sometimes! ?

I have actually had to have words with myself and put a ban on doing any wedding planning, internet browsing for wedding bits or coming on here until after lunch. Being self employed and a lot of my work involving needing to be online it has to be this way otherwise nothing would ever get done!

Hmm.. I should be revising for my exam on friday.. ?

I get very little done! I am either on Hitched or thinking about weddings and how I need to be on Hitched!!! xx

I'm exactly the same and it's definately been happening since I joined on this forum about 2 weeks ago! At the beginning of the year was when I really started booking everything but I wasn't pondering about it as I am this past few weeks. Past few nights been finding it soooo hard to get to sleep, all different thoughts and ideas running around about the wedding plans. I tried to stop myself from coming back on the site tonight but didn't manage! I don't even get married until 26th May next year so god only knows what I'm gonna be like up until then - it's so mind consuming (not in a bad way, it's all so exciting but kind of annoying when can't get to sleep!!!

I do! But I'm soooooo busy at the moment that I'd only be shooting myself in the foot if I let myself get distracted! I do allow myself 10 minutes during the working day to skim over the forum ?

I do get work done but I Hitch in between patients and while writing up notes...

Hence why I didn't Hitch today because I was run off my feet and didn't get chance to breathe let alone go on H or FB! **sulks**

I'm lucky that our internet access is restricted at work and at the moment i'm not at my desk much so I don't think I'm doing too bad- however we have added 'wedding updates' to our morning buzz/meeting which is my 2 mins daily to gush everything wedding lol

I'm a teacher if I don't work I have to put up with 30 unruley teens! The kids are all so excited for me though! :-) x
