Does anybody know where I can find a VW campervan?!

noseli24, 23 August, 2013 at 14:55 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello! It has been my dream to arrive for my wedding in a VW campervan but I'm struggling to find one in my area that is not toooo expensive. Our wedding will be in the Midlands (between Burton and Tamworth). Can anybody help?!

Most of the ones I have seen seem to have hiked up the prices for a wedding...

Thank you Smiley smile

Hi! You haven't actually said what your budget is, so it is hard to know if something is too pricey for you, but I had two beetles from here:

They also do the VW campers, and my cars were absolutely lovely. I'm from south of Birmingham.

Hi, I can't help too much with actually finding one in your area as I am in Bournemouth but have booked a VW Csmper for wedding car too!! I just love them so much and it suits our theme really well Smiley smile you said you were trying to find one not too expensive...what is too expensive? We have booked ours for £295 (which includes the driver, ribbons, champers and mints inside) and all the research I did with ones in this area, they seemed to be between £250 and £350. Not really sure what to suggest if you didn't want to spend that much apart from let everyone you know know that your trying to find one and somebody may just know someone who has one (not a company) who could do you a cheaper price. Or you could ask to not have any extras like the champers and ribbons and provide your own...this may take a little off the price. Hope this has helped xx

Not sure if these will be too far away from you, they are based in Buxton, Derbyshire. My friend used them for her wedding, her picture is used on the website Smiley smile

We are using big day buses, not sure if they will come as far as you though. We are paying £800 for 2 - 1 of which is doing two journeys, we get champagne and they will be decorated inside and out. It depends what you are after, i know someone who's son rented one really cheap for prom but it just had bench seats running along the sides whereas the ones we have are set up with comfortable seats facing each other around a table.

I'm using Calico Moon in Northampton, it's £575 for two, both of mine are doing two journeys and one will be taking H2B and I for a drive and some photographs.

We are using this company http://www.campervan-weddinghire.co.uk/. I think they are based in Leicester, but they are travelling to Nottingham for our wedding so they might cover your area. They are very accommodating when it comes to multiple trips and their service been excellent so far.

I am using luvdubweddings.co.uk and im in Solihull. Its £350 for 4 hours with a bottle of champagne and multiple pickups.

I had a quote of £325 from campervanweddings they seemed lovely and the service was great but was a bit nervous as the camper wasn't finished x
