Does anyone know.... updated with *flash*

Where I can find some faux pearl beads? I want them to fill my centrepiece vases and my florist says that she would need to charge £12 for each centrepiece just for the pearls as they are expensive. I was originally going to have crystals which would have cost £3 per centrepiece, but we have incorporated pearls into our theme so ideally I would like the vases to be filled with them. Any recommendations would be appreciated! ?

I wouldn't even be able to begin to try and work out how many to order.

You could put something else in the bowl and then 'cover' this with the pearls so you wouldn't need as many.

I'm having martini glass vases which aren't very deep so surely I shouldn't need that many? Thanks for the idea of filling the vase with something else first, perhaps some oasis or something?

Something like this any use? http://www.beadsdirect.co.uk/acylic-pearl-beads-round-shiny-cream-8mm-pack-50/BA1154/

What about combining crystals and pearls? I've seen it done quite well in jewellery, why not have crystals in the vases with a pearl every so often kind of thing? Would save you a fortune.

Yes my florist mentioned these, but I haven't been able to find these in pearl/ivory colour, only clear... I guess I could do a mixture of clear aqua beads with peal beads.....

I really like these floating pearls in gel filler (none of these are my colour scheme but you get the idea!) This would require less pearl beads. What does everyone think? Would these look good in a martini vase? I thought it might look like bubbling champagne ?

EBay, or jewellery making websites such as Ebeads, Beads Direct, Jilly Beads, or just search for jewellery making beads. They are glass pearls.
