Yeah i think it would go with the dress but depends what look you are going for. I am having a very similar dress and i will be keeping my jewelry very simple as not to detract from my dress!

I think if the necklace does not touch the top of your dress then it should be ok. Is it a handmade one or off the shelf? If it is handmade perhaps you could ask the person who makes it to shorten the drops for you

Your dress is beautiful & I love the detailing on the front under the bust line. Personally, as a jewellry maker myself, I would tend to lean toward a simpler style necklce but it is all down to personel choice

    Hope that helps

Sort of yes. It's a november wedding so I thought it would be apt.

Future MrsR - It's by Veromia, however I seen so many like this and I think they all look lovely.

1 Lucie - Yes I think my only concern would be - too in your face for this dress as it does have that detail under the bust.

Thank you Ladies i'll give it ago, only £3 for BHS sale so what could it hurt?!

Its a lovely necklace (what a bargain) and I do think it suits the dress but like others have said only if its short enough (if its a ready made necklace its probably 16" with an extender which should be fine). My only concern would be that the design of the necklace is quite "thick" despite having dainty chains. Because you will have to wear it on a short length it might really shortern your, or "cut you off at" the neck IYSWIM.

Personally (and it is down to personal choice at the end of the day so feel free to ignore me!) I'd go for something a bit dainter, perhaps something like this with diamante rondells to tie in with the dress detail. http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html#necklaces_grace

I agree If it's not short enough it will look a bit mad I think too, I reckon I'll post a picture once I have it. The more I look at the more I like it though, I always wanted a style like it but in black lol I think this is more apt.

It isn't the sort of style I would have suggested but I think with the bust detail of your gown it will work well if you don't have a big tiara or other pieces of jewellery which make a statement.

The necklace is only 14" with an extension chain so it's meant to be worn as a choker so it might be ok depending on how long the longest drop is. At £3 it's meant to be I think and if it doesn't work then you have a fabby piece of jewellery for your honeymoon ?.

If it is too long and want suggestions of ideas I am happy to help. I've this design which is really popular for winter weddings and a matching bracelet is available which is a little bit different because it's exactly the same with the drops and looks gorgeous on the wrist.

Or something a bit more delicate would be something like this

    or a bit heavier

I really hope the necklace sits well and please do a flash. I've looked on the BHS website and they have another design which would also be a statement necklace and would be really nice with your gown. https://www.bhs.com/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/1163001

I love it but then it's my type of thing. It will go but not if you also have alrge tiara, 1 or the other not both is best in my opinion. But some brides can carry off both. If it does turn out to be too long get in touch and I can show you somthing with the draping style but smaller.
