Does anyone use Liz Earle?

michy-lou, 28 July, 2009 at 20:32 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Would you recommend it?

I fancy trying a new skincare regime and have read good things about this, I'd like to hear if 'real' people rate it?!!

Yes - I've used it and would def recommend it! I've recently been using Dermalogica as I ran out of LE and needed something in a hurry. LE is definitely better and I'm going straight back to it!

It feels a lot kinder to my skin than the Dermalogica. I only use the facewash and toner though - I like a moisturiser with SPF which LE doesn't do.

See I prefer Dermalogica to LE

OP - have you thought about buying a trial size kit to seehow products suit you before splashing out on a whole new range? I but my Dermalogica stuff from here (I've been told it's equivalent to cost price....) http://www.jerseybeautycompany.co.uk/category/skin-kits.html which is defo cheaper than salons

Also LE has an outlet for slight seconds on Ebay which come up a bit cheaper than from the LE site, though the postal charges are the same as it's an official LE shop

I also quite like Ahava, which is a dead sea mineral range, though it can be hard to come by

Hope you find something you like soon!

Bit late to this but I've been using Liz Earle since late 2005 and I really like it; I use the cleanse and polish, the normal moisturiser and the gentle exfoliator. It really improved my skin; it wasn't too bad to begin with but I get far less spots. I also like their sunscreens. Some John Lewis stores stock it if you don't fancy paying postage, although I like ordering online direct because you usually get a few samples. As someone else (sorry, cant see who) said, they do a mini kit for trying the products.

There was also a range in Tesco that was widely rumoured to be produced by Liz Earle, but I don't know if they still do it.

My mum loves her stuff, she has very sensitive skin and it's one of the only products she can use
