Does anyone wish you could show your OH your dress?

I would really love to show him mine! It is really getting to me as I wanna see what he thinks but he is adamant he wants a surprise!

I totally know where you're coming from.

I've been running loads of ideas by him about everything else and enjoyed hearing his ideas.

Just from triying some on I've wanted to show him, so when I have actually bought it or even more, got it, I will definitely want to show my OH.

But equally, no, more so, I KNOW that I will be so happy on the day that I haven't and that it can be a wonderful surprise. I already think about the look on his face as I walk up to him.

Focus on that - it might help. Or just pinch your arm or something ?

I showed my OH some online to get an idea of what he liked too.

He really wants me to show him it. If he didn't want to see it it would be so much easier to keep it a secret!

Yeah i do,i have pictures on the computer and he could access them if he wanted. He says he has not looked and does not want to,i am not sure if i completely believe that he has not looked ,as it draws closer i really hope he has not seen it.

I have went on about my big train and how i will get up a set of steps to get our photos taken...it's tea length ha ha.

I really wish I could show OH now, as we share everything (mainly because I am terrible at keeping secrets and holding anything back!)

I do think it will be worth it once we get to the day and I can see his face see my dress for the first time as i walk up the isle.

I dont think anything could come close to that.

I wanted to. It felt strange at times hiding it from my husband as I tell him everything.

OH was with me when I bought mine. ? It really doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I feel really odd about it! I love my dress so much and just keep wanting to talk about it and I can't. Like other people have said, it feels wierd not being able to discuss it with him as we don't have secrets and I like to hear his opinion. My flower girl loves it though - she keeps saying "sshh, we can't tell the boys!".

I've showed mine pictures of what I like, but that's not the same as actually seeing me in the dress ?

My OH knows what my dress looks like, he hasnt seen me in it or with any of the accessories I am going to put on it though. I wouldnt be able to keep it a secret, plus I wanted to make sure he liked it!

I'm finding it really difficult, I tell my OH everything so I want to show him my dress! He says he doesn't want see, he has seen the one I didn't buy, I was torn between two and he has seen me in it! I have left a note of the two dresses designers and model numbers on top of the printer at home so he could have seen it, I dont think he has that much sense to look though lol I hate suprises.

I'm desperate to tell him all about the dress (when I get round to shopping for one) but more than telling him about it, I think the things I'm most excited about is seeing his face when I'm at the top of the aisle! that's one of my favourite parts of any wedding!

Nah, I'm not bothered if no one at all likes my dress (which I ordered last week!!) as long as I like it that's all I'm bothered about! I'm sure he will like it though, but then he'd probably think any dress looks nice.

Yes! i really really want to show him, but he says he doesn't want to see it yet. I also want him to be the last person to know what it looks like but i do wish i could show him.

My OH helped me choose my outfit, came with me to be measured, and he's in charge of getting me in it on the day. Poo to superstition!

I do definitely! Saying that though, because i'm so excited (and I love to talk) I've described to him the colour, design, train, length etc, it probably wont be too much a surprise to him on the day!

I do! I'm too supersticious to let him see it though.

He did say last night that he thinks it "won't be slim, won't have sleeves and will have a trail"

My OH bought me my dress. I then bought another one, and showed him when he got home from work.

Mine doesnt want to know anything, and shuts me up if I try to tell him anything!

I have to say, too, that no one will know, except for my sister, MOH and mum as they will be with me when I pick it, other than that, I am not telling a soul. :-)

My OH can't wait to see mine, and i can't wait to show him, but i don't want him to see it till the day. I'd regret showing him it if i did. I think it's easier to keep it a secret because the dress is still in the shop. Only have 107 days to go!!! First fitting on Thursday, one of my BM's is coming with me and she'll see my dress for the first time in real life!

I would love to show my OH my dress...I hate it haha, but he really doesn't want to see it.....and actually I think if he changed his mind and said ok to let him see it I wouldn't want to haha

My OH's face when I reached the top of the aisle was an amazing moment .... Im so glad it was a surprise! He knew I was gonna be in a ballgown dress (anyone who knows me at all could have guessed that) but that was it. He keeps saying to me ' you were beautiful & you were stunning in your dress'. OH didnt know the colour of the BM either.

I haven't bought my dress yet, or even started looking! but i think i will want to show Mr R once I get it. He's told me that he doesn't like big skirts but doesn't mind "the bit behind", and his favourite dress out of all the ones i showed him was the style i liked the least! I worry that he wont like it when he sees me in it on the day and he's not very good at pretending to like something when he doesn't!

When i got home from choosing my dress i showed my OH because seeing it in a picture is different from on the day wearing it with hair and make up done. I lasted about 2 hours before i showed him lol I wanted to show him as he is the one person i tell everything to and talk about everything with ?

I really want to show him, and as its in the house its really difficult. I keep sayign things about it- esp at other weddings I'll compare mine to the bride's. He doesnt want to know at all though and tell me off if I say too much!! As others have said its just so odd having a 'secret' from him!
