Does this sound ok?

cw2b, 9 August, 2014 at 22:50 Posted on Planning 0 4

We have already printed our order of service but after meeting with the vicar today, I thought about adding a note to say 'we hope you take lots of photos to remember our special day but we would appreciate if you could refrain from taking photos during the service'. Our vicar doesn't like guests to take photos during the service and we agree with him (he's happy for professional photographer). Does that sound ok?

That should be fine, but couldn't/doesn't the vicar say that at the start anyway? You going to hand these out with OOS or put them out on the pews?

He does mention it but thought it may be worth adding just to make sure. Yes, was going to slip in to the order of service

Was thinking maybe having it as a note on the pews might stop you having to print as many and would be easily seen by all guests?

Just me thinking passively, I guess, but a suggestion for you none-the-less Smiley smile

Usually the vicar mentions this at the start of the service, before the bride enters. So personally I wouldn't bother adding it to the OOS.

Thanks, I probably won't add it, save some time and ink! :-)
