Dress help...

Feanor, 22 February, 2010 at 10:19 Posted on Planning 0

Morning girls,

Hope you are all ok and had a productive planning weekend!

I went to the National Wedding Show at Olympia on Friday and tried on lots of lovely dresses. My favourate was a David Fielden at £2600!! I quickly took that one off before I fell too much in love with it!

I have always said I would be a China dress girl as I have ordered a few previously and they have been good but not for me. Anyway I just love love love this style, https://www.inweddingdress.com/style-bc059.html but I haven't ordered from this particular site before. What do you girls think of this style? Do you think with the back being like that, it might be difficult to get the fit right? It also says underneath in the product description that the fabric is satin, but to me, from the picture it looks as though it should be a chiffon right? I think I should maybe query this? As I am getting married abroad, I definitely want Chiffon!

I'd really appreciate your thoughts Smiley smile

    Hiya,

I LOVE the dress its perfect for a wedding abroad!!

I have never ordered anything from that site, although have browsed on it a couple of times, hopefully there will be someone along in a bit who has. Just be really careful with measurements and things like that. If it was me personally, I would order a size a bit bigger and get it altered locally when it arrives? You really need that back bit to fit right and not to be gaping.

I would def enquire about the material, although it looks to me like it could be a really lightweight satin? Which would be fine for a hot day, Im thinking it could be our equivilent of satin nightdress weight?

    Good luck!
