Dress Help!

gemmaandchris, 7 February, 2015 at 18:32 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi all! Getting married next March, and going dress shopping with my mam next month, who is paying for my dress. She has given me an approximate £1000 budget for my dress.

Here is my issue - I love Mori Lee dresses, especially the ones with sleeves. However, I'm quite top heavy (36H), and most of the Mori Lee dresses have a low back - I really dont think it would be possible for me not to wear a bra!

Does anyone know of a solution to this? Or know of any dresses in my price range which are similar to Mori Lee dresses but dont have a low back?

Thanks!

Mine was a Mori Lee, I'm a 34E and had no problem at all. Have a look in my signature at my report, there's a good pic of the back. Your shop should be able to show you designs that will suit your assets, try on a corset dress and you might be surprised how supported you feel

I had the Mori lee 5174, it had straps and I didn't need a bra, the dress felt very secure and nothing was jiggling about lol x

You can also buy low back bras (there should be threads on her) or ones that cross very low at the back, or can have cups sewn into the dress by a tailor

Hello, I was worried about going braless as mine has a lace back but they said I can have a built in bra in mine so may be worth seeing if you can do the same?
