Yes it's chiffon, but quite heavy. It's from Dessy and i'm having it in Quartz which is like a dusky pink.

these are what mine will be based on. my mum is actually making them in a very similar pattern except the skirt will flare out more

Thanks, not at all - it was £170 per dress, which was about £50 more than I wanted to spend for each one, but it was just the best option in the end!

I got mine from Q&S of all places - found by complete luck!

Waddle I love yours - I saw it in pink the other week and was tempted to buy for my BMs - even though I already have them, so lovely!

Both my BM's have said its a dress that they'd happily wear again at parties, so I'm doubly pleased that they like them!

Wow! Lots of people are having Alfred Angelo designs by the looks of things! well so do we, and below are the two designs the bridesmaids are trying to decide between. I have featured them in Hunter Green, which is the colour scheme of our winter wedding (white and dark green).

I know! The chief bridesmaid seems to like the first one better and to be honest so do i because it's satin like my dress and it's winter, but if it was me the bridesmaid I guess I would have trouble deciding...

These are the dresses we are having, in a cadbury purple colour with ivory sashes. The short one will have a sash on too to tie them both together. Both are Dessy. x
