Dress question (with first attempt at a **flash**!)

NickiK, 5 February, 2011 at 22:34 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi everyone

My first attempt at a flash, hope it works! I've paid my deposit on my dress and it should be arriving in the shop in July-ish. I hadn't been sure about having a strapless dress (thought it might look a bit naked for a church wedding), but the lady in the shop said if I like, they can add straps when it comes in.

What do you think? Will straps improve the dress or will it look better to leave it strapless?

Would appreciate your thoughts... I'm trying desperately not to show the photo to anyone who's coming to the wedding, want to keep it a surprise for maximum impact, but I'm dying to show it to people!!

I dont knnow how you havent shown it to anyone, I think I have shown everybody I know mine.

No it doesnt need straps, its not that low cut, perfectly modest enough for a church do. Hadnt even thought of that and mine is sweetheart neckline!

In my opinion it looks gorgeous as it is, if you are worried about church perhaps a veil or a jacket or something, but i think it looks fab the way it is!!

Wow, what a beautiful dress! I definitely wouldn't add straps to this - it is so delicate and intricate that the simple neck line really helps to highlight the elaborate fabric. You look pleased as punch in it - what a fab photo! xx

    It definitely doesn't need straps.

Who's the designer? Never seen that dress before?
