Dress shopping.... Again!

From reading your post, it sounds like you're leaning more towards the Justin Alexander one so I would recommend you go for that one. It is a fab dress and the detailing on the back/shoulders is fab!

They are both gorgeous dresses and completely my style too! In fact, I'm sure I tried on the JA one! It's difficult to say without seeing you in them. The first one looks too big for the model! If I was to choose, I would say JA. It's stunning and has more of a wow factor. Obviously, this is judging by the model pics!

I have the same problem! I love two dresses and cant choose now! I even tried to try even more dresses on as someone said if I cant choose its not the right dress....but that didn't work either as the other dresses I tried didn't compare.

I went back and tried them on for a second time but I'm going back for a third as one of the dresses in the shop doesn't fit me but the same dress is in a different shop in my size so I need to go to both shops on the same day and I have to force myself into making a decision ?

I like the look of the first one but its does look really long on that model.

Personally I prefer the second dress, I like the lace detail at the top and the silver around the waist.

Like others have said it does sound like you are leaning towards the JA one! And I can't blame you, it's gorgeous, I tried it on too and loved it, but the dress shop couldn't guarantee it would arrive in time for my wedding (I left dress shopping super late!) so I went with another designer.

What is your venue like, and what kind of overall look are you going for? Try and imagine which dress would fit in with your overall style for the day. That's all I can suggest

Yes I'm leaving towards the JA dress... I wasn't keen on the high neck but it definately growing on me! Really looking forward to trying it on again!

I prefer the first dress, myself. "Controversial". Lol. Both beautiful though.

The back of that, with a veil like that.... stunning. Totally the opposite of everything I've chosen and I love it!

I think you would lose the effect of the back of the other one with a fancy veil.

I think there are a couple of things you need to think about before you make your decision:

1) How are you wearing your hair? If you are having it half-up or down, you will lose the detail on the back of the second dress, so I would go for the first, and;

2) Make sure you can sit down comfortably in them - fishtails are really difficult to sit down in!

Both stunning dressess - i prefer the first one personally and you look AMAZING in it. The second one for me is a bit too covered up although lovely detail. Much prefer the first.

OMG the Intuzuri gown looks amazing on you! It doesn't look half as good as on that daft model who must have four-foot legs to wear a dress *that* long.

Having seen your picture now I think I'd go for the Intuzuri dress, you have a similar figure to me and I suited lower necklines better... I thought my chest disappeared a bit in the JA dress, thought that might have been because it was a size too small lol.

But try and get a sneaky pic of you in the JA so we can compare!!

On the models, I prefer the second one - with wedding dresses, I'm all about the back. However, the first looks fab on you (although the back detailing looks slightly different compared to the model?).

Thanks everyone for your input! I tried on both dresses again and while I do love the JA dress! The intuzuri is more me and this is what I've gone with!

I saw this earlier and was swaying towards the JA dress. But having seen the photo of you in the Inturzuri dress it looks absolutely amazing - so much better on you than on the model. Definitely a good choice I would say!

You have a really good figure, so basically everything is going to look awesome on you! I also tried that JA and whilst I really loved the lace, for me I felt the neckline was a little high and the waist wasnt sitting quite right on me as I am not very tall. I went for Justin Alexander 8605 which essentially the same shape, but stapless (comes with a little jacket) and has really full on lace.

The Justin Alexander dresses are made so beautifully and having mine altered has been a total dream. The seamstress at my shop actually said that JA dresses are so well made and so well finished that you can wear them inside out - all the internal seams are so beautifully finished!

Mine holds in my tummy, feels secure and just wonderful!

You look gorgeous in the first dress too though, you are basically not going to make a bad decision here. Have you got enough time to have a little bit more of a think?

Well, the photo of you changes everything! That first dress looks amazing on you! You have an amazing figure and it really shows it off. You've definitely made the right decision! It's a stunner! I love how different dresses look than in model pictures! My dress looks rubbish in the model pictures too!
