Dress shopping tomorrow

Ooh, I'm jealous you will LOVE it!! Try lots of different styles, even ones that don't look that specially the hanger! You've probably heard brides say on here that they've ended up with something completely unlike what they thought they wanted - this is so true, just keep trying until you find THE ONE!!!

On my first visit the lady (who couldn't have been nicer) let me pick my dresses, I did not have a clue and having been a tomboy for many years I felt a bit overwhelmed. I ended up picking the dresses with the longer trains which did not suit me. When the lady herself picked what she thought I would suit then we ended up knowing the style and length that I suited the best. Even though I didn't buy my dress from that shop I left knowing exactly what style and length I was looking for..that way the next shop I went into I had an idea and I wasn't going in blind. It's an experience all right. Good Luck

I can only echo what others have said , go with an open mind and try on LOTS of different styles as you might surprise yourself.

^^ EXACTLY THIS! To the letter. Always trust the dress lady. I had a list of things I didn't want:

1. Lace
2. Tea length
3. Blingy
4. Button / zip back

I ended up buying a dress which was:

3. Blingy
4. Button and zip back!
