dress wobbles, somebody slap me please?

thefuturemrsclarke, 26 May, 2010 at 18:56 Posted on Planning 0 16

My dress is in the shop. and i have a fitting in 2 weeks time im mega worried im going to hate it. i keep looking at it and thinking, should i have gone for something plainer, does it have to much going on? what if it doesnt suit me or makes me look like a big fat heffa?

heres a pic of my dress, none of me in it tho, can people tell me if im justified in my wobbles, or if im just being a silly cow?

Ooh is that a Maggie?? ?

Don't worry about it. It's probably nerves since this is officially your dress now and all getting close etc. I think it sounds normal to have these wobbles xx

Silly moo moo LOL your dress is absolutely gorgeous no need for a dress wobble. I'd be so happy and delighted to wear that if I were getting married and everyone will think the same. We all get them though I did too but when I saw my dress being made I was so happy! xxx

Most definitely being a silly moo!

Think back about 8 months (if you can remember). I posted a very similar thread to this when my dress came in. But as soon as I saw it and put it on, I knew it was THE ONE all over again!! Remember, you must have loved it to buy it in the first place!

It will be lovely..... I filmed a bride in a maggie (Krystalin Marie) wearing diamond white and the dress looked fab and so will yours. Try not to worry... you'll put it on and you'll fall in love with it! xx

One huge slap from me coming your way!!!!!

Your dress is gorgeous - remember, there is a reason why you chose this dress over all the rest and I bet you'll fall in love with it all over again when you go for your fitting.

Dress wobbles are normal - try not to worry too much

    HIya,

The dress is amazing and imsure you will look stunning in it. I think its normal for us brides to have a panic after all its the most important dress we will ever where. Im wearing a benjamin roberts dress which has quite a full skirt like yours and my OH keep sayign to me you are wearign a skinny girls dress arent you not one of them elizabethan things!!! So know im havign major wobbles as i know everyone expects me in something slinky an dplain and Ive gone for the full monty!!

    Martyne xx
