Dont worry - I too am 6ft, but not as fortunate to be a size 10 but found that the dresses were generous in length. I have gone for a 'Sottero and Midgely' and with 3" heels it fitted perfectly. Enjoy the shopping expeditions ?

Ah do not worry, I too am 6ft, though far from a size 10 unfortunately for me, but my dress is definitely not around my knees.

My dress is by Sincerity, if you were looking at going for a high street rather than designer then I know BHS do ivory dresses and they are a generous length too

I am not a size 10 or 6ft but my dress is from Alfred Angelo and it needs taking up loads as it was really long, and I only tried on the medium length, My dress (with alterations) is coming in just over £500

    hope this helps

Wow thats gorgeous! Much like my sisters-

Her whole wedding was planned in 6 weeks- she got her dress hand made in japan for £150 and it arrived 3 days before but was stunning!!!

Came in the smallest box- about the size of a shoe box- we thought it was a sample!

Try Monsoon's new Bridal Range, they're gorgeous, very generous in length and range between £180-£350!

He's only an inch taller than me so I'll be bending my knees a bit for the photos, plus I'm not having a tiara - just a flower or something at the back. If you're brave there are sites in the US who sell the top brands at a much lower cost than the US. Mine is £850 and I can get it for around $450. Considering I'm marrying a guy from the US (and moving to the US) I should have been more daring and bought it but we're arranging ours in 6 months :-) Certain brands like Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, Alfred Angelo are all available in the US so best to see what you like and then shop around on the web.

Maggie Sottero dresses can easily be ordered with extra length (an extra 3 inches i think?)

I have a standard length one and I'm size 8 and 5 ft 11 in my big heels so an extra 3 inches should be fine for you at 6ft plus heels.

Well, without alterations, I can tell you that my dress was under £800, my budget was between £500-£800. If I was not so much of a salad dodger then there would of been a lot more dresses for me to try on, but I tried on about 7 dresses.

    Good luck hunting x
