Dresses from America??

I'm getting my dress from the US and it's being shipped.

I bought the BM dresses there and bought them back with me.

It should be fine if the place is reputable, I used RK Bridal in NYC, they do online orders too.

I did that with my wedding dress, and it was no problem. Just as the other lady said, be sure it's from a reputable company. Be aware of taxes as well...I had to pay £105 to get it past customs..

Even with the customs charge mine was $400 cheaper so I was pleased, but I was able to go to a recommended shop so I felt safe in trusting them x

I ordered my dress online from Victoria's Bridal Couture,it took 12 weeks and cost £27 in import tax

Delivery in total took about 2-3 weeks. I got a letter and invoice in the post from customs saying the item had arrived and would be posted to my address once payment had been made. You can always phone customs to enquire how much taxes would be.

edit: I would order pretty soon, especially if you need alterations. I'm end of june too!

Yes, me too- got a letter telling me the fee to pay and went online and paid,dress was delivered a couple of days later. The charge depends on the value of the items being shipped, you can go on the customs website and have a look at charges.

Im doing the same but mine are through ebay and the company has over 12000 feedbacks and i checked online about taxes and because my order is under £135 the taxes are 0.
