Drink induced memory loss

Vee Tee, 6 April, 2012 at 14:41 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Yes I have a hangover. I was at my best friends house for dinner last night and had necked 2/3rds of a bottle of wine before dinner, then after that bottle was done I moved onto Gin until the tonic was done, then I cracked open another bottle of wine.....I have actual memory blanks for the first time ever, I was guilty of harrassing her dog and making him pose for photos with me, I fell asleep on the spare room floor, and OH had to get me into bed, fully clothed haha.

I am assured I did not make a twunt of myself.

*the fear*

Wine is my evil nemesis!! ? I can drink lots of spirits but once I mix them with wine, game over! The next day I have the hangover from hell.

Oh dear, at least you were only at a friends house! The fear is worse if you have been out in unknown company! I will talk to anyone!!

My H has had drink induced memory loss. We were out one night at a friends and i was designated driver. He and my friends boyfriend basically drank themselves into oblivion on various malt whiskies. He (and my friends Boyfriend) were paying for it the next day. H had no recollection of leaving my friends house to come home, didn't remember me having to stop 3 times on the way home so he could throw up, he didn't remember trying to get in to my neighbours house when we got home, didn't remember me waking him in the toilet to make him go to bed. nothing. We still joke about it. I have never been that bad thankfully.

Oh dear VT. I always find the best cure for a hangover is to get back on it...

I won't drink, no idea about this. It is better to avoid alcohol habits.
