Quite a few of us over on BT have had to be admitted to hospital fod HG, maybe it was that as opposed to MS?

Isn't HG where you literally cannot keep anything down? How horrid.

Hope she recovers and has an uneventful next 8 months!

I had HG and spent a large part of my pregnancy in hospital, I would hope she hasn't got that. Good news for them, could be next in line

It is called Hypermesis Gravidum (I think - hence I stuck to calling it HG!) You end up getting extremely dehydrated because you can't keep liquids down. I can't remember exactly now but I lost about two stone through vomiting over about three weeks. I watched a programme once were they said it should eb called progesterone posioning rather than morning sickness? It 'apparently' can be a sign that the baby is very healthy (that's what I clung to).

Delighted for them, but my heart goes out to all those who really want to be pregnant and aren't. This will just rub their noses in it even more.

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to make you cry. I just know a couple of people in this position (including my daughter) and it stinks!

Will try to avoid fluff in future so as not to upset anyone. (But am thinking of you)

Fantastic news for Will, Kate and their families. They strike me as being people who will be fantasticly down to earth parents (well as much as can be).

I kind of feel for her being in this inevitable media storm again surrounding the hospital, pregnancy, no doubt following her for months. It seems she's been forced into announcing before reaching the 12 week mark due to her being so poorly.

    Wishing her well.
