Has anyone got one?

Are they as good as they say and are they worth the money?

I guess it depends what you want it for. My H bought one because he can;t resist a 'gadget' and he uses it to hoover up tiny piles of crumbs in the kitchen, which is stupid to me because it would take 30 seconds with a dustpan & brush. The only thing he uses it for which is useful is cleaning the inside of his car (not mine I hasten to add, selfish b£stard!). Still, I'm a misery and still think that's OTT as he could easily plug in the normal hoover and just use the thin attachment thing. It's charge lasts 6 minutes, which according to the blub is excellent and much better than that 1 minute most others manage - however I think charging something for 3 hours to get 6 minutes activity out of it is rubbish and it's not something I personally would buy, although my H loves it.

I got one for under £100 (good old eBay) and mostly use it for cleaning the car, caravan and stairs at home. With 3 German Shepherds I am impressed so far! 6 minutes doesn't sound long but so far it has been enough.

I have, it is much more 'sucky' than any other of the hand helds I have used, and I find it really handy! It is heavier than I thought it would be though and a bit of an awkward shape to store. Overall though I am pleased with it. I have only run out of charge once when using it (and thats when it wasn't plugged in for a while!).
