Not long now! How are your plans coming on?

Slowly apparantly!!! We have the venue booked but thats about all! Weve been visiting wedding fayres to get ideas and everyone keeps telling us were leaving things too late! Its over 5 months away! Should I be panicking? Hows far have you got with yours? We only decided to get married in October!

Sorry I've just read what you posted above - I wouldn't worry too much about plans so far, its amazing what you can get done in a small amount of time. Jobs on our list include flowers, cake, suits, invites....think most other things are more or less sorted (I think!!) Having hen do in Feb and main honeymoon in July. So excited!

We're getting married the Friday after Easter so not quite date twins but still in my Easter holidays so feels like Easter! I feel very disorganised everytime I come on here - which is a lot!

Easter is a busy time traditionally because of the holidays. So I would try to get things booked as sooner rather than later. Happy Planning! Good Luck

I'm another Easter Saturday bride! Not having an Easter theme as such but having a egg hunt for the children and maybe mini eggs in little pails as favours.

I think I have everything pretty much in hand (I hope), hoping to send the invites out in the next week or so. Just need to sort the cake, hair & make-up, bridesmaid shoes and favours.

we're having our reception at home....garden party style...so will have an easter egg hunt for the children and some sort of easter craft table to keep them busy.

Im panicking after reading how organised everyone else is!!!! Booked the chair cover lady today, who will also do the centrepieces when we decide what we want, and made enquiries about photographer. Leaving bridesmaid dresses until after christmas, and got a rep from smooch? ring people coming next week. Seen a ring in goldsmiths, but wondering if i can get it any cheaper! Wheres everyone going for their hen do? Im TRYING to organise that this week as well! Suddenly it all seems real! EEEk x

ME!! I am really starting to panic that I won't have everything done, I won't have lost enough weight, I will forget something really important! I know I have the major things venue, registrar, groom, dress, suits, florist, invites etc but worried I won't be able to bring the day together. I am not the most organised so will probably be running around flapping two days before.

Jules - Do you shop in Tesco? You can convert your clubcard points to Goldsmith vouchers! We have done this for my wedding ring - going to cost us £40 after the vouchers! Yay!!

I have no idea what is happening on my hen doo - MOH is in charge... EEK!! OH's stag is the week before the wedding... thats not a worry AT ALL ?

Its not coming quick enough for me, im all done bar the things that I cant do yet! xx

Hello ladies!!

We`re Easter Sunday!! No Easter theme for us, we`re having it in church so we`re going to have a mini-service first so thats as Easter themed as it`ll be!

With regard to rings - not sure where people are living but we`re planning to go to the Jewellery quarter in Birmingham - we`re making a weekend of it and are staying in a hotel!! Google it, some shops have a website but the choice (and discount) is fabulous!! ?

Nice to find you all you ladies! Perhaps we can stress together! Finding a decent photographer has given me two days of headache!! x

5 months does seem so much closer than six!!! People keep saying 'oh you can worry about that after Christmas' but I'm thinking it will come round really quickly! Don't have a florist yet but done most of the other big things...invites are next on my list!

Aw Katielou no I dont shop at Tescos! Shame really, but Im sure that we will find some that we like...not really fussy!

Ive ordered the invites, and I think we need to go this weekend to order the mens suits. I really need to sit down and write a list of exactly what I need to get sorted!

Oh I am very excited to have a little group of us Easter brides!!

Our colour scheme is teal, silver and white.. or something to that effect haha! Its going to be very mix matched though with all of our personal bits and pieces!

Where is everyone getting married... Perhaps some flashes are in order?! haha x

My main colour is silver with hints of raspberry pink. Getting married at a place called West Tower in Ormskirk, I haven't got all my pics with my at work but here is the venue for starters! xx

So...how are people getting on??? We gave our notice of marriage today! The invites were delivered yesterday so were hoping to get them posted this weekend. I have my dress, and have booked the venue decorations! Feel like Im getting there! Had the lady from smooch show us some rings yesterday....didnt budget for THOSE!
