Hello ladies!! 13 and a half weeks for me!

Sorting the invites out now which are being designed for us by a friend - It works out at a whole 69p each for the card which i got from a company, envelopes and card - i`m chuffed to bits! Really looking forward to doing those which should go out in the next two week.

Ordered the dessy bridesmaids dresses!! whoohhoo! and my other half has chosen his suit although I wont know anything about it until the day!!

Flower person picked too! cake appointment with Aunty sorted, rings to be bought on the weekend - we`re going away to get them and making a weekend of it! Feeling we`re finially getting there after me being way too chilled then having a 'crikey' moment when i realised what was left!

Videographer in Bristol area - not far from us! We found so many are so cheesy. We have booked Iconic Images based in Cheltenham https://www.iconic-image.com/ at £550 which I thought was brilliant!! its made like a film which is what we wanted but perhaps not everyones cuppa!

Found myself having a cry home every night this week i`m so excited! xx

Sarah are there any sites on the net that have the prices of dessy dresses or do you have to order them from a shop? x

I'm another easter bride, getting married on maundy thursday- 5th April.

I've just started getting stuck in with the planning... its all so daunting, etiquette for everything!

In between buying my dress and now we postponed our wedding and had a baby in the middle, whilst I still love my dress I'm majorly panicking as it doesnt fit- the zip wont do up even a teensy bit!

That is absolutely gorgeous! I love seeing other peoples dresses!

As we postponed after the dress was ordered mines now at home with me, so I can regularly try it on to see if I can get in it yet. I have made good progress however seeing as when I first collected it I couldnt get it over my bum. So I am getting there slowly, i just need to get there quicker now the day is approaching! Nothing like having it here for incentive though!

I'm having a little bit of an easter theme- nothing major but I want easter eggs as part of my centerpiece, anyone know where I can get a few buckets of them cheaply? (I dont care if the chocolate is naff, I cant imagine many will really get eaten), the other thing is, I want them in shades of blue or complimentary colours to match my blue colour scheme!

When me and our florist were orginally discussing ideas we were going to fill the vases full of foiled eggs and have a sponge thing on top and the flowers coming from the sponge - I decided against it in the end due to cost but she had planned to get them from Aldi.

    Hope that helps!

Here is mine - Love her. Just cant decide how I want it to hang at the moment - guess I wont know until we have had it fitted as it is 2 sizes too big!

Love your dress Choc - such a beaut, having a goal like a wedding dress sure does help!

Shells - I have said this before but that dress is amazeballs! Smiley laugh

Jules, - super sorry for the later response.. i`m sure you understand it`s been super hectic!

The dessy dresses are from a shop in Gloucester. I went on the main dessy website and found the nearest stockest. I`ve gone for three different dress styles, all the same colour.

This week i`ve sorted calling of the banns, invites which are due to go out late this week early next (a little later than thought but these things happen), rings ordered and paid for - went to Birmingham on Friday and found them, and had a meeting with OH aunty who is doing the cake. It isnt the lacey design I initially wanted but it`ll have four tiers of cake and two tiers of dainty white flowers. Hopefully i`ll be able to get a flash or two on here soon. I`m sooooooooo happy with the invites i`ll do that when it`s all done.

Really stressed about shoes. i need platform 10 cm, white with ankle strap! Not asking a lot! lol!

Happy 3 months to go! xxx

Went to my mums last night, invites are done.

Can hand give most of them out going to stick the ones I need to in the post tomorrow when I'm back at work - then I suppose sit and wait to see who comes! *nervous*

Is anyone else nervous that people won't turn up and the evening will be dull and lifeless? Smiley sad

Shells you are sooo not on your own on that thought - I looked at the invites before I sent them off and thought "is that it?" only for mt OH to remind me that 99% are couples or familys.. Sooo scary now!

Had a few texts here and there to say that people have theirs which is nice, as long as they RSVP (bridezilla attacks!)

I know I am forgetting things - I need to write a to do list ASAP! xx

I've only had one RSVP out of about 20, which is making me a bit concerned. I sent them out before Christmas and they have 13 days to go until the RSVP deadline, but still I thought I'd get a few yays or nays. Doing the reception ones over the next few days hopefully and will send those out.

Also on my to do list for this week is:

    - meet the florist and discuss flowers

    - give notice at the register office

    - talk to the caterer about food options

Meanwhile I'm going to post about my current train connundrum under a new thread (because my train is that important! not...), so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Also, a bit of a dress flash going on there. As well as the aforementioned back fat :-)

We got most of our invites out last week and the rest this week - loved making them but very glad they're gone as was huge job! Got a few RSVPs back but mostly from the people we knew were coming anyway like the best man! Got till mid Feb for the venue yet so trying not to panic! And working on the theory that if people haven't replied I don't have to worry about the table plan which I am dreading!

Any news on the dress misstd? My hen do is that weekend and know nothing about it either - mostly excited though as two of my bridesmaids are getting married at the end of this year so they know not to stitch me up!!!!

Jobs for this week are honeymoon (got to get cracking on this - not going till July but still!) book dress fittings and suit measuring and sort out jewellery and tiara etc with a friend who's making them!

Wooooo! Got the phonecall today to say that our wedding rings are in the shop! Were going to York this weekend to pick them up! Cant wait!

    Dress fitting tomorrow evening....gulp!

Sorted and ordered the suits last weekend, and got the Chief bridesmaids outfit yesterday!

Its all coming together now! Ordered the cake boxes from the bay of e, and favours from thorntons for the ladies!

Cant think of anything left now to do....other than sort hair out!

Oh, and may need new shoes! I bought 2 pairs for sizes.....the size 6 are too small and the 6.5 flops off!

    Hows everyone else getting on?

    Hey peps Smiley smile

I come baring good news....well some good some bad..

Was browsing facebook yesterday and my friend had posted a photo of a receipt from Tesco - 6 bags of mini eggs for 3p...... they were scanned in at 1p a bag, then on BOGOF offer :o :o :o

Bad news is, on the way home from work I went to two Tesco Express ( both didnt have minieggs) and the big Tesco near me - although the mini eggs were full price they had a stonking deal on creameggs! box of 12 for £2.70!! As we are giving these as favours I had budgeted 60p each with the idea of buying box online which worked out 43p an egg!

So I was VERY happy with this - so happy infact I bought 10 boxes WOOP!

    Hi Easter Brides!!!

Sorry I haven't been on here much, the laptop with all the wedding ideas, spreadsheets etc has decided to die on us so have lost everything and don't have access to the internet at home! Whoops not good!

Looks like everyones plans are coming along nicely, some gorgeous dresses and venues.

Jules'n'Mark, I have got light silver bridesmaid dresses and light ivory flower girl dresses and I was worried they wouldn't go, but I put them together and my mum and chief bridesmaid agreed they looked nice together.

Is anyone else getting more nervy and stressed by the day? I don't even have anything major to do but I can't stop stressing and feeling sick that nothing is going to come together and I am going to lose control of everything. I know I am being totally irrational and stupid but I am the most unorganised person and never had to arrange something on this scale before. I keep telling myself I have a Fiance, registrar, venue and rings so even if everything else goes wrong the important things are sorted but my stupid palpitation and stress won't shift! Am I the only nut job in here haha?

    xx

I'm quite calm about things so far, BUT the last three nights I have had wedding disaster dreams. Night 1 - i wake up half an hour before the wedding and none of the hairdressers/make-up artists have turned up, the venue hasn't been decorated and nobody cares. Night 2 - OH buys the wedding rings and they are hideous! Night 3 - can't remember, but equally stressy.

I keep having wedding nightmares too! maybe Im getting just a tad too stressed now! Went for wedding dress fitting tonight, and as i am, and as it is...it needs no altering at all. I need to go back 2 weeks before the wedding as Im still losing weight! It looked lovely...apart from the back fat! Think I might need a bolero or something. The dress maker said that even size 6 brides have that, as the dress needs to be so tight to hold it up!

Getting there with table stationary too...almost finished them! Just need to do a table plan now!
