EBAY WEDDING GOWNS FROM CHINA??? SPECIFICALLY - ENZONIA DAISY 2009 COLLECTION

BETTYLU, 24 March, 2010 at 13:55 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello all, I am new here and very new to wedding organisation ? . I am in the process of dress shopping, there is a seller on Ebay from China (smt-elegantshoes). I have found a dress I am very keen on and I am fully aware that they only produce replicates of the original designer gowns but was hoping someone could advise just how well produced these garments are - after visiting an actual bridal shop they advised that the build quality on these dresses are bad and that they and other bridal retailers would not alter my dress or steam them if and very likely it was required. Can anyone help - I really can't afford to pay the couple of grand the actual dress would be to buy and have my heart set on this design... any views/comments will be much appreciated. Thank you ?

You need to do your research when it comes to China dresses. Some are lucky, some are not.

I'm a lucky one. I got mine from Landy and it's Lush! They don't do Enzoani though I don't think.

Other people have had good luck with Light in the Box and Your Bridal Wear. Landy are also on ebay as "asapbay"

You are a star - thank you I will take a look at them and hopefully I will get some more feedback from B2B's - Gudluck with your big day and honeymoon - and thanks again.

LOL. I'm made up for you lovely.

Well I really do appreciate you pointing me in the right direction - I will have to see if I can get measured properly, I don't want to risk buying my standard size and it not fitting!!! Smiley smile

I feel a lil sick now lol - excitement and stress! Lol.

I bought my dress from China and got it off ebay, i am also a lucky one as my dress is great! Was £800 in the shop and £89 all in from ebay! I would recommend you check each sellers feedback before ordering though.

Good luck with whatever you go for!
