Can you please answer a question for me?

What can be done to solve the financial crisis? I mean in an ideal world, rather than as things stand at the moment.

Presumably politics would have to be abandoned? Assuming that this could happen, then what?

Banks are being handed a lifeline by the Govt - but is it enough? Is it going to make any difference, or are we throwing good money after bad?

That is all. Not too taxing for a friday night eh? ?

    Today's results proved that the 50 million was too late to save the markets, the money simply doesn't exist it's all credit so it cannot be saved.

    It's a natural cycle which cannot be manipulated.

    We're heading for a huge recession, start tightening your belts and get used to a much lower standard of living, this is worse than 1987 and is happening faster.

    Please excuse my lack of general understanding, but would you say the fact that it's happening faster means it might be over sooner, or just that we have lower to go?
