Edinburgh hotel recs for hen party please?

Jefna, 5 October, 2009 at 16:05 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi there,

I'm an old married now and haven't been on WP for a few years, but I'm hoping someone can help please?

I'm bridesmaid in May next year for my lovely best friend and I've just been given the go ahead to start looking into her hen weekend, I'm so excited lol.

My friend wants to go to Edinburgh, and as I haven't been there for a night out before, I would be grateful if anyone could recommend any nice but reasonably priced hotels which are located near the main bars/clubs area please? I've beeb looking on Google but I don't know what is the best location, if you see what I mean.

Also if I can be really cheeky and ask for anywhere nice that does nice spa packages? Not necessarily the hotel we stay in however, but my friend wants to do a spa day on the saturday.

Thank you so much in advance for your help

Jen xx

H2b and I stayed in the Apex International a couple of years ago, not sure if that's any help.

Hiya my sis has just booked an apartment in edinburgh for my hen weekend. The website is www.edinburghpearlapartments.co.uk. Not sure if this is suitable but it might be worth a look. x

Sorry I have only just come back to this, I've been searching the net all evening!

Thank you so much for your replies. The Apex International looks bloomin gorgeous, but I think it might be a bit out of our budget, thank you anyway.

Shebert - Funny enough I've just been looking at apartments, although those you've mentioned didn't come up in my search. They look so much nicer though, and stylish. I'll definitely be bookmarking that site, thank you

Ooh really? I might give them a ring then rather than looking online, they must do group discounts then.

I'm actually waiting for chilli sauce to ring me with a quote! Did you have any problems with them?

Thank so much for your help

    Hi Jen

My sister organised my hen do in edinburgh and I had the BEST time. She booked an apartment for us through EdLets.com which was £450 for 2 nights and it slept 10 people so only £45 a head - works out cheap.

She also organised a spa day at Bannatynes which she got on last minute.com quite close to the time we went as they we take a friend for free so its worked out at £30 per person including a 45 min massage and full use of facilities which only opened in June this year, so we were the first to use it. it was fantastic.

The castle is also worth a visit too.

    Good luck and have fun!!!
