    Do you want a venue in Edinburgh itself or would you consider travelling a little further south to the Borders? I can recommend some lovely venues in the Scotish borders. We saw loads before we chose ours.

    What sort of venue are you looking for?

    I loved The Glasshouse, and it has a lovely roof garden for drinks so would be gorgeous for a summer wedding.

    Dynamic Earth is nice too, but would take a lot (maybe over 150) guests to make it look busy. Quite pricey as well!

    The Caves is also lovely, very atmpospheric and the prices are decent as well (they do a hog roast as well, if that's something you're interested in!)

    Penguin got married at the gorgeous Apex International, the reception room had gorgeous views of the castle!
