Good morning everyone!
Just wanted to share my latest news with you all. I was having some serious dress wobbles and started to feel really deflated about my original wedding dress. I just couldnt imagine myself feeling AMAZING on the day.
I put a small deposit down on a dress back in March and since coming away I have been doubting my decision. I just didnt feel like it was 'me'.. so after speaking to my mum about it she suggested we went and had another look at some other dresses. So we did on Saturday and after a couple more shops and LOTS more dresses tried on... I found THE ONE! It was THREE times the price of my original dress but it made me feel a million dollars. I havent stopped smiling since. It is completely opposite to the first dress, but worth every last penny! Desposit has been paid and first dress now cancelled. (only lost £50) I wish I had realised from the start that I LOVED lace!
Really nice! I'm not a real fan of lace, but I amazed myself by loving one that I tried on! I didn't get it in the end because I found "the one", but it really does feel weddingy.
Are you getting a hoop to go underneath to make it stand out a little more, like in the model picture? either way, it's lovely!
To be honest I never really thought about a hoop because it felt so perfect... I love how it 'swooshes' when I move and it follows me without having to fiddle with it etc. Its just perfect!
Stunning! lace its a timeless classic! and a lace hair piece would look fab! just an idea and shore some of the hibs can help you out but this was a bespoke design I made last year for something similar
OMG, your new dress is sooo much better on you than the first, well done I feel your pain as I too had dress wobbles but got one of my most critical bf's to help me decide and went for the first I tried - pics of both are on her phone tho, daren't put them on this computer!
Absolutely stunning - great choice! I love, love, love lace!
I also don't think you need the hoop, it looks lovely as it is.
I found choosing the dress the most stressful decision in the whole process - after 6 months of dress wobbles (having ordered it in January) it finally arrived last week and I was completely overwhelmed, it was all I had hoped for and fit me perfectly. No more dress worries, hurrah!!
Great decision, beautiful BEAUTIFUL dress. Absolutely the most amazing dress I've ever seen....
But then I would say that...DRESS TWIN!!!
?
Looks stunning on you too...it's made me smile, because I've not seen it since I purchased mine at the beginning of Feb and was starting to worry I'd have dress wobbles, but having seen you in it, I love it just as much as before ? Yay. ??
Looks amazing on you though. Definitely the more flattering of the two dresses!
YAYYYYYY I knew there was a dress twin out there somewhere! Isnt it just AMAZING!!! We have good taste Are you having a veil Loopz? This is my next decision to make lol!
I cant explain how much happier I am now I have THE dress. Everything else is falling into place which is so much easier. I can actually picture myself on the day with everything matching in the right places, as the other dress made me feel like "no matter what accessories, expensive jewellery etc - i wont feel good!"
Just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that has commented on my dress. It really means alot ????
I am going for a veil, but not sure what look to go for....the woman in the shop said a cathedral length veil would look stunning, and I have to agree ? But not sure if I want it to have lace or be plain, or what!! Decisions, decisions!!!
I want to go back and try the dress on....I think I might do so once the school holidays have started (I'm tied to school hols and it's in my mum's town, not near me!) Then, it should be in pretty soon! I know I am going to Squeeeeeee! hehehehe.
I think I definitely want a single tier veil, with a lace trim. But the length is what I cant decide on.
Have a look on etsy, they have some stunning ones!
I tried on a really long one on saturday but I think it distracted the back of the dress. But my mum is insisting on me wearing one, she cried more when she seen the veil on than the dress on its own lol.
I do have a slight worry about my choice of flowers now, maybe you could help - I LOVE gerberas, like LOVE them and have picked what colours etc, but now I have this dress I am worried it wont look right ? My auntie said its very vintage so roses would look best, but I dont want roses haha!
