Emergency bag contents

Angelpie, 15 September, 2012 at 18:36 Posted on Planning 0 1

Hi ladies I used to be a regular on WP but have moved over to BabyTalk these days, but am hoping you will be able to help me. I'm chief bridesmaid in a fortnight's time and suddenly realised I ought to have an "emergency" bag for the day but can't remember everything that was in it for my wedding. The things I can remember are: safety pins needle and thread white chalk pain killers Rescue Remedy plasters any other suggestions welcome! TIA x

At our reception, I put an emergency basket in the loos.

    Contents:

Painkillers, blister plasters, tampax, deodorant, needle and thread (black, white, nude), safety pins, nude tights/hold ups, nail file, mini packs of tissues

Probably a few more things but that's all I can remember at the mo

Straighteners / curling tongs? I was bridesmaid a few years ago and about an hour before we were due to leave most of our curls had dropped out (hot day & bad hairdresser) but luckily i'd remembered my tongs.

Also I find baby wipes can clean up almost anything and are good for freshening up.

What about some sanitary towels - would be awful to have to go hunting!
