lucy_x, 12 September, 2013 at 14:02 Posted on Planning 0 7

I'm thinking about incorporating our engagement cards into our wedding but not sure what to do with them! Thought about putting them into a book/on tables etc but i'm not very creative! Just wondering if anyone has does anything similar or has some got ides? Thanks xx

Sorry don't know why it is sideways, but i did this with ours. You could pop this up next to the table plan, cake or guest book or something?

    That's so lovely!

Makes me ever so slightly sad that we didn't get any cards ☹️

I suppose it depends on whether you want to keep them whole or if you're prepared to cut them up?

This may sound really harsh but I am not sure people would really be all that interested in engagement cards on the day. It's AAALLLLLL about the wedding on the Big Day. I think, although they rightfully mean a lot to you, people aren't really going to look through them and I can't really think of a way to incorporate them in to a colour/decor scheme because the cards tend to be so very different in colour, size etc.

The only things I could come up with (scraping barrel) is if you took photos of them all (for your memories) and then got a heart shaped cutter and chopped them all up for very pretty confetti to be thrown all over you in a lovely photo opportunity. Or cut them to make a special banner or bunting to hang up at the reception.
