Do they have to be the same theme as your forthcoming wedding?

Only because we will be going for a Christmassy theme as we want a winter wedding... However, it's March. Lol.

I can't very well send out invites with a Christmas tree on them as people will think we have lost it!

Did you make yours? Buy them? :-)

    we didnt bother with the expense, we just did a facebook event page and told people we were having drinks !!

    I don't think it matters if they are not in the same theme, if you wanted to tie them in you could use the colours (if you have decided!)

    nope, engagement invitations don't have to be the same design as your invitations....or even similar!They can be whatever design you want them to be
