Find out if the photo booth has a DSLR (Digital, Single, Lens, Reflex) camera or a digital, compact camera aka a Point and Shoot camera. DSLR cameras cost more but produce much better quality shots. DSLR cameras have better lenses and a larger image sensor which produces sharper, professional shots especially in low light conditions like inside a photo booth.

Thanks, Anniepie, luckily the photographer has agreed to throw the photobooth in for a couple of hours at no extra cost.

    Go to www.digitalmessageboard.co.uk

we are having the free standing unit which is £365 all day -( keeping last years prices for us.) the photo booth is a bit more and is there only 4 hours.

they are nationwide, worth having a look at. met them at a fayre too and seemed nice.

I've heard that Dream Booths are pretty good. I've not used them myself but a friend had them and they were pretty cool.

Sounds like your better off buying one and renting it out yourself after the wedding! Good idea though, sounds fun.

These have been growing in populatity for the last few years.

I've had a few recent weddings where they have been present.

I've had a go, and its good fun. Most suppliers will have props, and the quality is normally good (the ones I've seen have a DSLR mounted inside, rather than a cheap webcam).

The prints vary in quality, but its really about having fun.

If your budget has some spare, go for it!

    Jason
