Entertainment Help!!

molly14, 23 September, 2008 at 16:27 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hiya,

Had a disappointing wedding planning day. Just heard back from the singer I was hoping to book and she goes on holiday on our wedding day. Gutted!

So, now need to find someone else.

Can anyone recommend a good singer or painist/singer to play during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast/

And any good bands?

We're in Warrington so looking for someone in that area or prepared to travel to that area.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

We found our band though a local agency that was recommended by our venue. Is there an entertainment agency you could ask/sneak names from their website?

We're having the Singing Piano Man - https://www.singingpianoman.com/

We're getting married in Warrington too and he's based in the North West anyway. I think he's fabulous!

    Try James Barlow https://theweddingsinger.uk.com/

Quite a few Hitchers have done N&P's for him.

We used www.alivenetwork.com who were brilliant. You select your location, your type of music and your budget. They then phone you and talk about your needs and send you demo CDs to listen to and a list of songs the bands can play. We selected a band called Munch who were fantastic. So may people said they were the best band they'd heard at a wedding and asked where we'd found them.

Alive network were also nothing but professional and helpful and I can't recommend them enough!

I can thoroughly recommend James. He sung at our wedding in August and was fantastic.
