I wasn't here 10 years ago, but my sister was so you may remember her. She spent most of her time in baby talk however. Pittabre might remember you too - she's still here, on and off.

I can't remember if there were forums around the time of my first wedding...but 10 years ago I reckon I was separated and not far off finalising my divorce!!!! I've only been here since the end of November (whirlwind or not?) and am checking in far too much!

I am just recently back myself but I was a 2012 bride and now a 2018 bride.

I have seen a few people that are here from when I was, which has been great but not sure any of them are from 10 years ago, but I hope you find someone. As mentioned, Ebony Rose has been here for 11 years, so hopefully you will see her around soon :-)

Mini story about me - married in 2002, separated / divorced 2007ish, recently moved from Cornwall to Bristol in a new relationship & happier than I've ever been. (no kids - best decision I ever made tbh)

The business idea is wedding planning - I had a business plan to do that around 8-9 years ago but the recession hit at the wrong time, plus it then coincided with my separation etc so wasn't really the right time. I'm going back to the drawing board & starting again with research at the moment (the wedding market HAS changed in that time as I'm finding) so still just scoping things out right now.

Hitchers I used to know - well loads tbh but names I remember - Whitty1 (who I'm still in touch with), Bagpuss, pans, sparkly, crantock... Now I'm thinking about it I've gone blank! A lot of people progressed from WP to OT to BT and then dropped off - understandable really.

Looking forward to getting to know a whole load of new people now though.

Just a forum by the look of it, although I can't be bothered registering to see what the discussion topics are.

There was a hitched exodus in 2009 and lots of hitchers set up a new forum as they were unhappy with the policing of hitched at tat point.

Interesting. I think it's safe to say that at the point I kind of stopped coming on here there were quite a few "issues" cropping up. It developed into a sort of factions & cliques place which it hadn't before. Frankly I got bored with it so just stopped.

Anyway - thanks for saying hi. I'm REALLY on a mission NOT to get back into the 'keeping hitched open on my PC at work all day' thing that I used to! So I'll pop in every now and then & start asking questions about the business side soon.
