I'm using Dawn Taylor too. Lovely lady. Had a trial for my hair and makeup yesterday. Was going to have airbased makeup but went with normal in the end.

What do you think?

Looks so lovely! can i ask why you changed your mind on airbase makeup, it's what i was thinking of having? are they your natural lasshes or did you go for a strip of falsies? x

Dawn said she could achieve the same flawless look with 'normal' makeup and I'd say she did. (Added bonus was not having to pay the extra) She used an airbase primer anyway (applied with a makeup brush) as it gives good results. I have extremely oily skin but it was dry in patches from dehydration, she said, so I had no powder on top as it would have looked bad, although on the day she will add it.

So I've learnt that I need to up my water intake, moisturise & lightly exfoliate to improve my skin quality. The only thing was my eyelids were 'slippery' looking by the end of the day so I will chat with her about that. (The joys of oily skin) I think I'll take a powder and lippy with me on the day anyway and that will sort it.

Dawn does strip lashes and individual extensions but I got mine done a few days before by a friend so the lashes were already there. (Much better than my own stubby lashes and as i know I will cry on the day I will not have mascara to worry about)

Thanks yes big help - although I have really dry skin and ecsema so different skin type to yours - i will remember to drink lots of water up to my trial haha x
