Our evening reception is in the same room as our meal, etc. so we're keeping the same decorations up, just moving all the tables / chairs out of the way!

We're having bunting, beachball lanterns (with LED lights), a sweet table with buckets and spades, a photo cut-out board and a pinata! Am also giving out glow-bracelets to guests. My brother's band have hired a smoke machine and lighting rig with their kit so hopefully the place will look pretty cool. It's only a tiny room- just hope there's room for everyone with the band in there as well...

Nah- why make more work for yourself!? Maybe just get in some lighting if you're having a DJ / Disco. I've seen the most dingy working man's club turned into a Disco Wonderland with the aid of some clever lighting and a mirrorball!! ?

We won't be changing anything inside but we're hoping to have some lanterns outside for when it gets dark.

We won't be changing anything from day to night - well, apart from the venue removing table and chairs from the wedding breakfast to make way for the band / disco. It's a barn though, so doesn't need too much decoration.

Just tea lights (in addition and the flowers from the ceremony/table centrpieces will be relocated around the room)

    Sometimes less is more. ?

First determine your wedding theme because theme plays a huge role in your venue choices, meals, accessories and more. String lights and lanterns are good options. Also create a centerpiece outside that will awe your guests when the dark strikes.
