One of the flats in our block was torched tonight and is completely gutted. Thankfully nobody was hurt. I feel awful for the lady above us and one over. She has two babies under two and her flat has been wrecked by the smoke, she was right above the burning flat. We've spent the evening in one of the neighbouring houses and have just been allowed back home.

Very grateful to the guy in the house opposite who spotted the fire and evacuated the block. Scary stuff ?

How awful! I'm so glad no one was hurt and hope the neighbouring flats can be sorted out soon.

We were all fine. I'm a little shaken, it's just so scary when stuff like that happens on your doorstep! Poor Audrey was bundled up into her travel box as we dashed out. I'm sure she knew something was up as normally she puts up a fight going in there and moans the whole time, but she went straight in and was near silent for the few hours she was stuck in it. We fed her as soon as we were allowed back in and she's curled up on the spare bed ?

We spent the evening in our neighbours house, they always feed Audrey when we're away and their two year old LOVES Audrey! He was so excited that 'Maow' came to visit him in his house ?

I was in exactly the same situation about 3 years ago. Absolutely terrifying isn't it?

Cr@p, this happened to me last year. 2 apartmtents away from me. I was feeling selfish and only cared that my flat was ok at the time, and of course that the girl was ok.
