Everythin is gathering speed now!

Hi Ladies,

I havent been around for ages im sorry, i got adicted for a few months so had to back off for a bit and actually start organising and not just planning it all in my head....like then it would all magically be done! My h2b is working away mondays to fridays now aswell and so im taking most on myself aswell as travelling by train to work each day with my 3yr old. So thats where im upto now, the wedding is nearly just 6 weeks off and i feel like its snowballng, im not organised at the best of times so im hopeing ive not bitten off more than i can chew!

I bought my dress a size 16 aswell and have lost over 2 stone since ?, the thing is although the girl that does the alterations is taking the bust in she wants to leave the waist and hips! It does have an extra inch or 2 on each side i think can be lost in my opinion! i think what puts her off is the dress is all boned and it would be a lot of work, but im proud of what ive lost and want to show it! My question i suppose is, it is a zip back....would changing it to corset back be my answer and if so do i have enough time for this to be done?

Oooops what an essay, thankyou in advance if you get to the end. i think im craving adult conversation beein with my little boy all the time,?!

Hi firstly well done on your weight loss!!! Dont blame you for wanting to show your new figure off!

I also think corset backs give you a better shape as they pull you in in all the right places. Perhaps this would be easier than trying to take 2 inches each size cos that is quite a lot!

Let us know how you get on and perhaps with a wee flash?

Good luck with the countdown to your day

Yes there is time for them to change to a corset back, but the sooner the better - would make for a nicer shape.

good on you!! thats a lot of weight off! Smiley smile I would speak to the dressmaker and tell her that if she isnt going to take the sides in, you want the corset back! Smiley smile And show off that figure girlie! Smiley smile
