Can you get replacements for things like gcse and degree certificates? and if so do you just apply to your place of study?

Degree - contact the institution where you studied.

GCSEs/A Levels - see if you can remember which examining group you had, and contact the relevant new qualification provider.

Not sure about degree certificates, but i enquired about getting replacement Standard Grade and Higher Certificates from the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and im pretty sure it was over £25. That was a few years ago though

For GCSE/A-levels you can go to this site https://www.qca.org.uk/qca_4521.aspx to see which board you need to contact. I have just had to do this and it cost around £35 per board.

Not sure about degree certs but would think you would have to contact the uni.

Probably not GCSE certificates for employment so I wouldn't worry about them unless you are specifically asked for them. I needed mine as I'm starting teacher training next week and had to prove I have above a C in maths, english and science....the certificates still haven't turned up though and I need them before I can register, eek!
