Excitement growing - RSVP's

MrsPenguin, 16 May, 2011 at 21:43 Posted on Planning 0 6

Warning - self indulgent post!

Posted day invites on Friday - 23 RSVP's already! - yipppeeeeeeeee!!!!

I love Online RSVP's - if anyone thinking of it - would recommend gettingmarried.co.uk

(although there is bound to be some chasing involved)

I thank you x

It's ace, we eould have spend a fortune on inserts otherwise. We had so much info to give out - this makes it so much easier.

We did as FMR said - we put RSVP as either our address or the website details and gave them a password. Guests can also put dietry requirements etc and there's an ask a question section (we chose songs) so guests can answer. BRILLIANT!

I've set up a gettingmarried website & have also put in my invites that people can RSVP online but I have also got some cheap RSVP's off ebay to go in with the invites (about £11 for 100) which come with envelopes printed with our address so that way the non-internet friendly people have got no excuse! One way or another, I will get my replies out of them. I'm good at nagging.

I kind of bucked the trend with our invites as we didnt include any RSVP's and I loved getting all the little cards in the post and thankfully we've had all of our RSVP's now. Its such an exciting time as it starts to feel so real when people confirm they are coming to your day!
