I'm very determined to not have anything that's not part of me on the day. I know to some it may sound silly, but I've never had a fake tan, fake nails, hair extensions, etc. While I think that they often look nice on people, given that it's not something that I ever use, I don't want my wedding day to be the day that everything is fake (sorry, couldn't think of a less harsh sounding word, not meaning to cause offense). Like I say, if I used these products anyway, then it would be part of me, but as I never have, I don't plan to start now.
I'm quite happy with being pale, it suits me. I've been growing my hair since we got engaged 10months ago, and will do so for the next 10 months. I'll be growing my nails and getting a french manicure. I'll be gettign my usual waxing done. I'll be staying natural with my make up. I curl my eyelashes every day, but some days they protest, and I just know that my big day will be the day that they don't play ball.
My beutician suggested having my eyelashes permed and tinted, as I have quite thick and long eyelashes, and refuse to have extensions. Has anyone had this done, and did you notice a big difference. Did it damage your lashes in any way. Any before and after pics would be awesome.
