facebook and my family. Why some family members should not be 'friends'

Ginger, 21 July, 2009 at 18:42 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Oh blimey.

I had a facebook saga soemtime ago with my cousin and wife. Long story short, my sister and parents, and other cousins including their young children, were all friends on faebook.

Cousins wife is frankly, a bit odd. Examples, can not work due to dodgy hip from having an injection, yet can pose in various hip usage positions for semi porn photo's, which are then shared on facebook.

She is the queen of passive aggressive updates.

Shares various swinging groups she has joined, looking for others to have fum woth her and my cousin, no harm in that, except the whole family can see it including her neice and nephew.

sister and i point out this little mistake and she blocks the whole family and cousin writes us an email saying we were mean and as she is 'virtually housebound' facebook is her lifeline (if that were true i would not mock)

So, we have been reinstated as friends for some reason, and the photos are still there, she still has funny but PA updates, and now it seems that cousin and wife aer responding to each others updates when it is obvious they are both at home.

Is it me, or is that well, just weird?

? and as if to illistrate my PA point perfectly, here is an update from today, the said Gparents are her FB friends

Lesson learned, choose god parents that will always want to be a part of your childs life, not ignore them and not see them for 3 years even though they live in the same town. Its their loss!!!

You've got to worry about some people haven't you? I nearly threw up last week when one of OHs cousins husband posted 'why do I get blisters on my hand and not my c***' seriously, her sisters can see that!

Sorry but ? Facebook really does bring out the worst in people sometimes doesn't it.

I was just about to post moaning that my MIL has just sent me a friend request. I can't not add her really can I? But she is a very obsessive person (on the spectrum) and I really don't want her poring over my every movement. My FIL is on there also (they haven't been together for over thirty years) and I am kind of worried that she will add him. Usually this would call for a restricted profile, but Mr J's cousin has shown her my profile before (the git) and with her photographic memory she'll probably know what's missing. Argggh.

I have family on my FB that I cannot stand the sight of, but deleting them would cause too much aggro. They are a bunch of semi-literate wastes of space who spend their entire lives (as they've never worked in their lives) playing computer games, whingeing and doing PA status updates. So I feel your pain!

This reminds me why I will never EVER add my MIL on facebook!
