Fairy Lights.....

KarenJane, 29 January, 2013 at 14:47 Posted on Planning 0 7

Good afternoon all!

I'm getting married in a very rustic barn and the plan is to have lots and lots and lots of fairy lights wrapped round the beams etc - So i was just wondering if any of you knew the best place to get them or if anyone has any that they no longer need? We're looking for LED battery white lights if poss.?

Thank you x

We're having these in our venue

They're being done by a company called Oakwood events.

They are costing us £380 - which I know sounds like an extortionate amount of money for some fairy lights but it just makes our lives a lot easier.

You could ebay cheap fairy lights in from the far east? Especially if you're looking for white lights, it shouldn't cost much at all. Fairy lights are a must for weddings, I just love them!

Probably a silly question, but have you asked your venue if they have any, or work with a company who sets them up for you?

I only ask most barns seem to already have them.

We're getting ours from Beautiful world tents- 18 sets for £160. I don't know if they hire them out separately, or if you need to have a booking with them already (we do) but it might be worth asking?
