False eye lashes or not?!

BrogstarBride, 27 January, 2013 at 18:52 Posted on Planning 0 11

I don't normally wear false eyelashes but I tried them on New Year's Eve and was surprised at how easily I put them on and how much of a difference they made. I'm just worried I won't be able to put them on on the actual day!

What is everyone else doing? Smiley smile

Definitely having some, but I wear them on any 'night out / dress up occasion'.

MUA will put them on for me on the special day tho! Normally I do them myself...

I have images of one resting on my cheek ( falling off) during the ceremony so not sure, I may do individual falsies though!!

P.s. mine will be individual false lashes for the day. Normally I wear the strips but not risking them hanging off my face on my big day!

I didn't do falsies stick ons during the day, as was scared it would fall off.

I had eyelash extensions the day before, which were amazing, and lasted me my whole honeymoon! Would definitely recommened.

Hi! I am having falsies! At my trial my MUA put me some on. I had a full strip and some individual ones at the edges so they fanned out. They were really comfortable and lasted all day and night without budging Smiley smile This is a pic of mine...

I love false lashes and think they really finish off a look for a bride. There are so many styles available now that you'll definitely find some to suit you. I use Ardell lashes which Boots have recently started selling as they're really good quality. As for them falling off, if you buy some Duo glue (you can buy this at Mac) and use this glue rather than the one that comes with the lashes, they should stay put until you pull them off.

I love false eyelashes & wear the strip ones every time I go out. They make such a difference if you're not blessed with naturally long lashes.

I like to put my own on & am yet to have my make up trial. It's a friend & she did another friend's lashes & they were gorgeous so I'll have a trial & see what I think!

I really want to go get eyelash extensions but I'm worried they might damage my lashes, I will definitely have them or strips so will be doing something

They really don't. I can't speak for long-term use continious use, as I only have them when I go on holiday but tey don't damage. They just fall our with your usual eye lashes

I live in my false eyelashes for any big event so my wedding is not going to be an exception ?. I'm getting semi permanent ones done the day before as I love them and they're so easy to maintain. I'd be too worried about strip lashes flapping off at the ends and looking weird in photos ?
