I would say that you only want people that you have met for the day but allow him to come for the evening. If she still kicks off, demote her to the evening too.

I had to go to a friend's wedding entirely on my own because she had never met my boyfriend (who is now my fiance). I knew maybe one or two other guests back from when we were at uni together, had to travel up (5 hours each way) and spend 2 nights in a hotel on my own, but I still had a great time!

This niece needs to get over herself.

Don't cancel your wedding, but maybe cancel her!

    Good luck x

Don't cancel your wedding, that would give your H2B's niece too much power! Plus you'll lose so much money.

It's your wedding, it's a day to celebrate you and H2B's love for each other and your commitment to each other. It's incredibly rude for his niece to say she's bringing someone to your wedding who wasn't invited.

I would stick to my ground and say the boyfriend is not invited, there will not be a seat for him, or a meal. If the niece and her mother continue to cause issue, I would dis-invite them. It's completely unacceptable behaviour to make you feel like this, especially so close to your wedding day.
