Seems like everyone is winding down for Christmas so not much posting.

So, how is everyone? Up to anything exciting in the next few days?

Hey GB - I'm just working the next few days really. All sorted for Xmas - pressies bought and wrapped so nothing else to do on that front. Football is on tonight so going to watch that with my OH.

Gave out the first couple of invitations today to a couple of girls at my work - I stop on Xmas eve until 13th January so wanted them to have them before I stop for hols and not sure what I've got on next week so probably won't be able to take them over then.

Just really waiting for 2010 to get the rest of the invitations out and start thinking about cakes etc. Got a meeting with the hotel on 8th January to confirm the menu, accommodation and drinks stuff etc.

Hows things going with you??? You are set for Xmas??? You were flying with your WP the last couple of months. Take it you are mostly sorted and ahead of schedule?

Ooooh! Exciting giving people the invites isn't it ?

You've got a nice long break - going anywhere or just chilling out?

We've got a busy Christmas (as usual) which involves driving to Newcastle the night before Christmas Eve, and driving from Newcastle to Nottingham on Christmas Day. And the fun starts on Sunday with a visit to Bristol! ? Luckily, i've managed to get an appt with the Chief Steward while we're in town to go through menu choices, etc.

Yep - pretty much set. Waiting to see if the jewellers has a Janaury sales to get our wedding rings. Planning a trip to London in late January / early February and will look for D's suit then (he fancies a Paul Smith suit). Other than that, not much left to do really.

Got most of my Christmas shopping done and all that I have got is wrapped. Just need a few more bits but I'm struggling now for ideas.

Got a Christmas night out with work tomorrow, a lunch with the girls on Friday and then out with friends on Saturday night. And by then I should well and truely be in the Christmas spirit!

All sounding good to me!!!! Yeah, its great starting to give out the invitations and getting peoples comments on what they think of them.

Man, you cover a lot of miles at Xmas!!!! lol Hope you have a fab time. I've got nothing planned apart from me and OH maybe moving in together - spoke about it again tonight and don't think its going to happen. Bit upset about it actually but what can I do?? He won't make a decision about anything!!!!!

Our works Xmas meal/night out is Friday night which I'm really looking forward to although I've bought a lovely little dress and sandals to wear - not sure that the weather is going to be the best for that kinda outfit but I'll just need to drink more to forget the cold!!!!

I presume you're going to live together after the wedding? I didn't want to live together before we were married but due to rent prices in London we didn't have much choice. Still kind of sad that there'll be nothing 'new' after the day.

Excited to hear you've given out invites already. That means I can start the minute we've got them through!

GB- wish I was half as organised as you!

Yeah, we'll def be living together after the wedding. I really want to move in together now - the position we are in just now will be the same come the time of wedding so as far as I'm concerned we have to make a decision now as it will be even more stupid to be married and living in our own separate houses!!!! lol

GB is super organised - go GB, go GB, go GB.........

My Mum worked with someone who didn't ever move in with her OH!

They lived in seperate houses during the week and then spent alternate weekends at each others houses!

Haha! Thats what you get for being a PA - it's like bringing my work home with me... ?

Awwww Gillsy. That's pants ☹️ Is there any specific reason why he won't move in before the wedding? He's got to do it soon enough ? Hope you sort something out.

Yep - mega driving for us at Christmas!! ? Still, at least it gets it over and done with ASAP ?

No specific reason GB. We've got 2 places - looking to sell his and rent mine and buy something else. I think it makes sense to move to mine and try to sell his then at least we can stay here for as long as it takes to buy something else. Its just really difficult to get him to make decisions - I mentioned this for the first time about 3 months ago and asked him to think about it - he said he would. I've mentioned it at least 6 times over the last 3 months with the suggestion being that we move in together at Xmas and each time he said - I'll think about it/we'll need to think about it. Its now just over 1 week to Xmas and hes still not thought about it !!!! aaarrrggghhhhhh

[removed the last part - too depressing....lol]

Awwww Gillsy - big hugs!! (I read it before you removed but didn't get the chance to post). Hopefully the festive season will bring good things and maybe you can sort something out.

Is he the type of bloke you can just say what's happening and not "ask"?

Thanks GB. I think I'll just need to wait and see what happens - I'm sure it will all work out ok.
