My final exams are over by next Tuesday and then things are just going to come round so quickly.

Just cant wait to get my call about my dress, busy but exciting times ahead!

Woohoo. How exciting. Everything is sort of coming togther now. Invites have not long gone out and starting to get the RSVP's back. I get to try on my dress again this Saturday only problem is i've still got my shoes sorted so had to cancel my appointment with the alteration lady. Still got lots of little jobs to get done, but planning on having a productive couple of weekends coming up.

I'm the 3rd too!! ? 3 months!!!!!????

I'm slowly getting there. Invites are nearly ready to go out. Meeting the TOG tomorrow as well as the venue dresser and wedding coordinator at our venue as well as going to the flower wholesalers to order our flower tomorrow too. Getting through all the little bits and bobs too but its coming around so fast!!!

Hello!! I'm the 4th Sept!! Time is just flying by!! So exciting! We have had a busy wedding week, OH took the week off and we gave notice on Tuesday, got all the invites made, written and sent out and went round all the suit hire places and think he has chosen the ones he wants! Bought the flower girls dresses today, so cute! Have been writing the evening guest list this evening too. Have a wedding to attend tommorow too so that will get us in the mood too!! )

Its nice to be feeling excited about it all again as last month I had to sack my MOH as she was being awful to me, very upsetting and lots of tears we had been good friends for years and I have now cut all ties. I have now enlisted my best male pal as my "man of honour" and he is delighted to take on the job, so its all worked out ok in the end.. but it was a rubbish few weeks and really took the joy out of planning for me.

Glad your all so excited about your wedding day (you should be ? ) can i suggest trying to book your DJ asap.

We get bookings 9 months to 3 years before a function date and what tends to happen is you will get left with the "non - proffesional" DJs the closer you get to your function date.

We have the same problem! I really, really wanted to get a dj who would play some music from my OH's country but haven't found anyone, so looks like h2b's culture gets sidelined in the wedding yet again. We already have an amazing band who are playing English/American pop songs at the start of the reception but its been so difficult to find a dj that I don't really care any more - there are a million other more important things for me to be worrying about atm. The lead singer of the band we have hired has said she will send us the numbers of some djs she works with. If we don't find anyone though, I'm happy to stick some music on myself and if people want to dance then they can, otherwise we can all just chat and play games and things like any other big family party.

Also, Enterflora - I sent my invites out in march so they've had ages! I told them to rsvp by 22nd July (4 weeks before we have to give final numbers) because I knew some of them would forget to reply. I'm very impressed that all of yours have replied so quickly!

I'm a 3rd September bride too!

I'm soooooo excited with 3 months (to the day!) to go :-)

I think i'm pretty organised have dress, shoes, bm dresses are being made by my mum, florist, dj, food, drink, all but 2 rsvp's, provisional table plan done, order of service done, favours started, photographer sorted, hair trial done and makeup decided on and picked a groom! ?

All that said I have a huge long list of things that still need doing!!

Let me know the countries that your OH are from, i know a number of specialist DJs that can cater for foreign music. I am getting rather good at english/chinese Weddings.

If you are not worried about having music then you obviously dont need to worry about a DJ. Its just from the OP that peple hadnt booked it but still needed to, Sorry if i miss understood.

I'm 8th September in Mauritius but fly out on the 3rd....

I am September 3rd bride too! Went to see the bridesmaid dress maker friday, paid for our honeymoon, hen weekend this weekend. got so much to do but not a lot at the same time, lot's of "bits" which seem to be sooooo time consuming!

Can believe it's so close. OH proposed to me on 1st Nov 2009 we booked the date 1 week later so felt like forwver away, now i keep getting the sweats when i realise how close it really is!!!!!

i think i may do my mega flash at some point this week to remind me of how much has been done already, may help calm me down! lol!

i keep putting off the table plan but think i'll try getting that done this week

Thought I'd bump this up as its reached that time of the month again (not THAT time of the month but the day that makes me panic because there is only x months left). So now we are all down to 1 month and x days, hows everyone doing?

This month I've finally found a dj, less than half of the guests have rsvp'd even though they were meant to be in by last Saturday, and OH hasn't got enough money to pay his half of the wedding costs (not really his fault) so I have to work overtime to pay his half. So a bit mixed.

RSVPs are annoying aren't they?! Sorry to hear about your OH and money but not too much longer left to save (I keep telling myself this!)

We're pretty much there I think. Need to sort music for the ceremony (string trio) and reception (ipod) out and there seems to be lots of little bits left to do. I printed our OoS out last week, they need ribbon tying round them.

I'm on the 8th Sept and we're getting married in Turkey. Nice to find a date twin also getting married abroad :-)

I've pretty much done everything, having 1st dress fitting this weekend and going shopping with my mum for jewellery / accessories. Just need to get w-rings, sort passport name change and then chase up RSVP's!

Oh yea and pay the balance of everything! Argh! x

I'm another for 3rd Sept. Most big things are sort of under control. Making our final appoinments with suppliers is the main thing at the moment. We had our pre wedding photoshoot at the weekend. Got my make up trial this weekend. Need to sort out bridesmaids fittings somehow and get their shoes. The steady trickle of RSVP's seems to have come to a stand still and we're still outstanding loads. There's the little fiddly things to do like place cards and order of service but hopefully we can make a start on them this weekend.

4th Sept here. We have all our RSVP's back now after chasing up a couple of stragglers on the deadline date. Got final menu tasting Friday when we are also going to get our rings. Had last meeting with priest last week and sorted songs reading etc, also bought ushers and bridesmaids gifts.Have hair trial organised for 2 weeks time.. Its mainly just the fiddly things left to do now, assembling favours, place cards, table plan, DJ play list etc etc. Oh and i still need shoes and a bra! Bain of my life!

I am the 8th,just about sent all my evening invites out,waiting on a couple of addresses. I have all my day ones back so thats great. I have had quite a busy week emailing TOG/venue/venue. Made an appointment to see the registrar six weeks before. Left to do as far as i can think are shoes for my daughter,favours for adults and kids,wedding day stationary,dress fittings ,taste testing appointment and make up music lists oh hair and make up trial as well.

I am getting my teeth whitened next week and trying to spot deals for gel manicure/pedicures for myself and the bridesmaid.I also booked one of those boudoir photo shoots in a couple of weeks.
